Data Center Operations
The CDFOM® (Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager) is a three-day course that will allow participants to gain in-depth knowledge of data center operations management, from planning to supervision and reporting. This course breaks down the complexity of managing a mission-critical high-availability data center facility into manageable and systematic processes. It not only includes topics based on international standards but also covers best practices from experienced professionals with many years of experience managing global data center facilities. The CDFOM® is an intensive course filled with valuable information, bringing tremendous value to participants by enabling them to improve their data center operations. The course is fully aligned with the DCOS® (Data Centre Operations Standard).
Target Audience
This course is aimed at individuals working, or aspiring to work, in a Data Center, assuming a leadership role in operations such as Facilities Manager or Operations Manager, taking responsibility for managing and improving the operations of a mission-critical high-availability Data Center.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that participants have some experience in data center operations, although it is not mandatory. Attending the DCFC/CDCP course before the CDFOM course is recommended.

Delivery Structure and Method
The CDFOM® course is delivered by an EPI-certified instructor using a combination of lectures and Q&A sessions to discuss the specific needs and challenges of experienced participants in their own data center environments. Participants can take advantage of the instructor's extensive experience, allowing them to validate and improve their own environments, thus adding significant business value.
Exam
The certification exams are administered at the end of the course. The exam is closed book, with a duration of 90 minutes, and 60 multiple-choice questions. The candidate requires a minimum of 45 correct answers to pass the exam. Online exam results are known immediately, while paper exam results are received within a week.
Certification and Accreditation
Candidates who successfully pass the exam will receive the official 'Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager' certificate.
